Key responsibilities:
The Manager - Engineering Authorization (EA) Project Management is
responsible for oversight of the EA Project Management team and
associated processes. This position leads the end-to-end EA process
including, but not limited to, design, development, implementation,
and support of processes related to Engineering projects
(AD/SB/modification campaigns) and ensuring those processes are
followed as required along the project lifespan. It has direct
management oversight of a team of Senior Analyst - EA Project
Management positions. This position will coordinate closely with
counterparts both inside and outside of the Supply Chain
organization including Engineering, Maintenance Planning, Base
Material Coordination, Procurement, and Vendor Management. It will
be required to organize and report out on project statuses to
leadership as required. Effective execution in this role is
critical to achieving Technical Operations' goal of leading all EA
projects on-time and on-budget.
Collaborate with analysts and other work groups to ensure project
deliverables that are impactful to Supply Chain are met in a timely
manner
Lead development of contingency plans to mitigate potential risks
to Supply Chain timelines
Provide leadership and direction in addressing potential roadblocks
to timely project completion
Supervise team of senior analysts
Handle daily activities, business processes and improvement
projects, as well as training and development activities
Synthesize various project statuses within overall portfolio of
projects for report out to leadership
Act as Supply Chain focal for all EA-related work
Support development of additional tools, decision support data, and
processes related to EA project work
Daily management of subset of prioritized EA projects- resolve
current status, evaluate opportunities to advance project
timelines, review potential project obstacles, and develop and
implement solutions

(Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor Degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Business,
Supply Chain Management, or related field, or comparable
experience
Minimum 4 year experience in fields of the Supply Chain, Airline or
Manufacturing Industry
Experience leading teams in a dynamic, operations-oriented
environment
Understanding of Supply Chain Planning and Management
Strong communication and writing skills
Self Motivated and engrained Continuous Improvement experience
Strong people skills and ability to develop internal and external
relationship
Ability to generate consensus among disparate viewpoints
Experience running large data sets and using data extraction tools
and techniques
Experience in project leading a number of large project with
varying prioritization and completion dates
Demonstrated abilities to find creative ways to enhance operational
efficiencies
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage workload accordingly
through task prioritization
Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Self-starter with high degree of initiative and ability to manage
deadlines
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle
conflicting priorities
Ability to connect with an executive audience and work cross
functionally
Analytical approach to problem solving, with attention to detail
and a sense of urgency
Strong people leadership skills
Ability to influence others outside area of direct
responsibility
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any
employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job
qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the
position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred
Qualifications):
Master's degree or equivalent experience
Formal Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement methodologies
PMI/PMP certified
Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management
methodologies
Microsoft Project and/or Primavera experience
