will include, but not be limited to:
- Technical Responsibilities
- Perform all phases of an audit, including planning and risk
identification, internal control review and testing, substantive
audit procedures, engagement wrap up, and financial statement
preparation/review
- Perform other attest services including compilations and
reviews
- Research and conclude on various accounting and audit issues in
accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP) and
Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Generate ideas for accounting process improvements and best
practices for our clients
- Opportunities for fellowships in other service groups, for
example, management consulting, transaction due diligence, and
forensic accounting
- Relationship Building and Staff Development
- Participate in internal and external networking events,
including client meetings, industry events, etc.
- Contribute to business expansion efforts, including proposal
development and sales calls
- Supervise and develop a team of 1-2 associates on each
engagement
- Immediate opportunity to work directly with Managers, Senior
Managers, and Partners internally, and Accounting Managers,
Controllers, and C-Suite individuals externally
- Firm Contributions
- Participate in annual CORE training program which focuses on
development of core competencies to facilitate your growth at the
firm
- Opportunities to be involved in various non-billable
initiatives, including on and off-campus recruiting, internal
training facilitation, buddy system/mentoring program, development
of thought leadership content, etc.The qualifications.
2-5 years recent experience in public
accountingSuccessful completion of a Bachelor's Degree in
AccountingCPA preferredQualified individuals must either reside in
or near metropolitan Chicago, IL or be willing to relocate to the
area for this opportunity. Client travel throughout the region,
with some overnight stays may be required. Additionally, there are
opportunities for overnight travel to attend firm wide trainings

Salary
Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information
Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience
and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work
Act.
Compensation information posted is based on a position being
located in the state of CO. Please review position location for
applicable geographic location.
Colorado monthly base range is as follows:
$5,833.33 to $7,875
We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package.
Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these
benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week.
Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life
insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of
the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible
staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and
various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k)
plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense,
lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension
plan is also available for eligible administrative and
paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for
eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors
the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff
medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of
employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal
staff are not eligible for benefits.
