SummaryResponsible for all aspects of inventory management and cost accounting functions.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Responsible for Cost of Goods Sold integrityDevelopment of Margin Analysis enhancementsResponsible for inventory management including but not limited to the annual physical, cycle counting and inventory adjustment transactions.Track production project benefitsAnalyze and report on purchase price variance, manufacturing production variances, and material usage variancesPrepare, review and analyze monthly scrap reporting. Work with operations on improvement initiatives.Prepare, review and analyze monthly excess and obsolescence reporting.Generate monthly WIP report for accuracy and issues.Perform analysis of items to compare actual material and labor costs to estimated amounts.Prepare, review and analyze labor efficiency and through-put analytics.Report to management on efficiency and productivity.Work with Manufacturing to evaluate processes and procedures for maximization of efficiency and cost benefits.Assist in development of annual budgetDevelopment and distribution of quarterly forecastsWork with operations to review month end results prior to publication of month end package.Review production related capital projects and make sure transactions are posted correctly.
