Job Description:

SEC Reporting Manager $135,000 to $160,000 Overview: We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced SEC Reporting Manager to lead our external financial reporting function. This role is responsible for preparing and filing all SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.), ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal controls. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting knowledge, public company experience, and a deep understanding of SEC requirements. Why Work Here: Leadership Role: Own a high-visibility function critical to public company compliance Strategic Exposure: Work closely with executive leadership, legal, and investor relations Career Advancement: Opportunities for growth in technical accounting, corporate finance, or SEC leadership Competitive Compensation: Strong salary, bonus, equity, and full benefits package Mission-Driven Company: Be part of a company with purpose, transparency, and momentum Key Responsibilities: Manage the preparation, review, and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1, and other filings Coordinate with external auditors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate filings Research and implement new accounting standards and SEC regulations, and prepare technical accounting memos Oversee XBRL tagging and compliance with EDGAR filing requirements Maintain and improve the company's internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance) Support investor relations with earnings releases, financial press releases, and presentations Assist with quarterly earnings calls, analyst materials, and disclosure checklists Collaborate with accounting, finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure alignment across functions Lead special projects such as M&A reporting, IPO readiness, or new accounting policy adoption Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required) 5-7 years of relevant experience, including Big 4 public accounting and/or public company financial reporting Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC rules and regulations, and SOX compliance Strong technical accounting and research skills Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Workiva, Oracle, NetSuite, BlackLine) and XBRL Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment ZRCFS
