Senior Staff Accountant About the Company and Opportunity: CFS is working with a growing, successful company to identify a Senior Staff Accountant to oversee all accounting activities. The Staff Accountant role is fully onsite and reports directly to the President. This is a well-established company that has been in business for more than 30 years - the Senior Staff Accountant will grow alongside the company as it continues to expand! The ideal candidate is tech-savvy and a team player! Overview of the Senior Staff Accountant role: Process all invoices for accounts payables, including 3-way matching and weekly check runs Manage daily cash flow, applying and reconciling cash and reconciling bank accounts daily Prepare income statement, balance sheet reconciliations, trial balances, and other financial reports monthly Perform month-end close, coordinate quarterly field exam, and coordinate with external auditors annually Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Staff Accountant role: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting Minimum five years of accounting experience in a similar role Familiarity with ERP systems is a must, familiarity with Power BI will be highly valued! Proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP's in Microsoft Excel Highly effective communication skills Ability to problem-solve Interested in process improvement and automation of accounting processes Location: The Staff Accountant role is 100% onsite in Elkhart, IN.
