Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial management skills to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in QuickBooks Online and demonstrate proficiency in managing high-volume tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage daily bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date. • Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions align with financial statements. • Handle a high volume of financial data and transactions with precision and attention to detail. • Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and streamline financial workflows. • Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports to support decision-making processes. • Monitor and track incoming payments, ensuring timely follow-ups when necessary. • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support organizational goals. • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. • Provide support during audits and other financial reviews.• Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in high-volume settings. • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Expertise in performing accurate bank reconciliations. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
