the Divisional Group Controller/Finance Director of Life Science &
Consumer, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial
operations and providing strategic financial guidance across
multiple sites. Reporting directly to the EVP, CFO and President of
LS&C Operations this role requires a strong foundation in
accounting, GL management, financial and analysis. The Divisional
Controller/Director will play a key role in ensuring accurate
financial data, optimizing operational efficiency, and supporting
leadership in strategic decision-making for the division. Work
Location: United States (flexible near company office locations)
Key Responsibilities Oversee all financial functions for multiple
sites, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting compliance
with accounting standards, and alignment with corporate goals.
Provide financial leadership and support to divisional management,
driving decision-making and business performance improvements.
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
for the division, identifying key financial risks and
opportunities. Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing
processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in
compliance with GAAP. Collaborate with operational leaders to
implement cost-saving initiatives, drive operational efficiency and
improve profitability. Monitor financial performance, analyzing
variances and trends, and provide actionable insights to senior
leadership. Work with Plant Controller and ensure accounting
process and practices are in compliance with GAAP. Ensure robust
internal controls and procedures are in place and followed across
all locations to safeguard company assets. Lead and mentor a team
of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous
improvement, accountability, and professional development. Work
closely with auditors and other external partners to ensure
compliance with all regulatory requirements and audits. Partner
with corporate finance and other divisions to align divisional
financial goals with broader organizational objectives.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a
related field. CPA or CMA designation is highly preferred Minimum
of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, with
at least 5 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing or
multi-site environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience in
managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Strong Manufacturing Costing Knowledge preferably in Job Costing
Environment.Proven experience in managing financial operations
across multiple sites or business units, with the ability to handle
complex financial structures. Exceptional analytical skills with
the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic
recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
with a proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior
leaders and cross-functional teams. Strong leadership abilities,
with experience in developing and mentoring finance teams.
Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel
skills. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
