Job Title: Hip Hop Club Sponsor, 0.50 FTE Reports to: Director
of Student Services Terms and Conditions: Part-time, 1 – 2 hours
per week FLSA Status: Exempt Stipend: Per Faculty Senate contract,
level 6 stipend, 0.50 FTE - $1,265.66 at entry level. Please click

and River Forest High School , or OPRF , is a comprehensive public
high school located in Oak Park, Ill., a suburb eight miles due
west of downtown Chicago. We are a one-school district, with the
majority of our students coming from two sender districts, River
Forest Public Schools District 90 and Oak Park Elementary School
District 97. We offer more than 200 courses, a variety of programs
for students with special needs, 75 clubs and activities, and 29
competitive sports. We prepare our students well for post-secondary
success, with an average ACT composite score of 24 and a 94%

Summary: Hip-Hop Club is a space where students can come together
to work on their craft & explore the evolution of Hip Hop via
collaborative exercises & experiences. OPRF Hip Hop Club is focused
on community building and is a culture steeped in the rich
tradition of MCing, dancing, DJing, producing, performing, &
communicating. Students will have the opportunity to learn more
about the backgrounds of each through performance and participation
as audience members. Qualifications: Experience working with high
school students. Ability to recruit and maintain diverse
membership. Ability to meet sponsor expectations as stated in
Student Activities Sponsor Handbook. Organized and have positive
attitude. Collaborative. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1-2
hours per week. Oversee students at all meetings and field
trips/meets. Attend sponsor meetings and meet expectations given by
the Student Activities Director. Work closely with leaders to plan
meetings and events
