Job Description:

Our client who helps Japanese manufacturers for their business development in the US are looking for a Sales and Marketing Assistant. This position supports their sales and marketing activities, which includes market analysis, SNS target marketing like Facebook, SEO by Google AdWords and Thomas Net, finding distributors and preparing for monthly reports.Position Title: Sales and Marketing AssociateLocation: Schaumburg, ILReports to: Vice PresidentSalary: Base salary $45K + Sales CommissionBenefit: Health and Dental Insurance, Paid Vacation, SIMPLE IRA after 1 year of employmentResponsibility:

• Helps managers to develop new businesses including:
• Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting relationship with key persons in assigned customer accounts.
• Delivers exceptional customer service on a day to-day basis.
• Develops sales tools and marketing materials
• Follows up and communicates with customers via phone calls, emails, and visits.
• Answers telephone calls and assists customers for their inquiries.
• Works in a timely manner based on company schedule and complies with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintains good communication with the President, staff members and outside contacts.
• Reports all irregular issues and problems to the President for solution.
• Makes efforts to gain product knowledge and familiarize with the product markets.
• Seeks constant improvement, more efficient and less expensive ways and means in work processes.
• Follows up to complete any assigned work.
• Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Multi-Tasking, Order Processing, Problem Solving, Team Participation, Time
  • More than 2 years of experience as sales assistant or customer service for industrial products
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Japanese language skill is preferable
  • Certificates / Licenses / Training Requirements
  • Driver's license
  • Travel
  • Driving is sometimes required when visiting customers, trade shows, and our affiliate
