Job Details Job Details: Are you fascinated by the world of manufacturing and have a knack for fixing things? We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Maintenance Mechanic with a focus on Injection Molding. This is an exciting opportunity to join a skilled team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of injection molding machines and related equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This position requires a hands-on, problem-solving individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities: 1. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of machines do not deteriorate. 2. Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions and determine the need for adjustments or repairs. 3. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary. 4. Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment. 5. Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work. 6. Troubleshoot issues with injection molding machines and related equipment. Qualifications: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, preferably in the Manufacturing industry. 3. Proven experience with injection molding machines and equipment. 4. Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and hydraulic components. 5. Excellent understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. 6. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment. 7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Interested in hearing more?
