Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is currently available
in the Joliet, IL area, offering a school-year contract with a
school-based caseload focused primarily on elementary students.
This role is perfect for licensed SLPs as well as Clinical
Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, as supervision is provided to
support professional growth. Responsibilities: Provide
speech-language services to approximately 35-40 students within
elementary general education and special education settings,
including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Collaborate
with school staff to design individualized treatment plans.
Maintain accurate records and documentation. Participate in
orientation prior to starting the contract. Manage a flexible
schedule aligned with school hours, ensuring work-life balance.
Qualifications: Valid SLP licensure or current CFY status. Comfort
and experience working with diverse student populations, including
those with special needs. Ability to develop effective
communication and therapy plans tailored to individual student
needs. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Location:
Joliet, Illinois (school-based setting) Employment Details: W-2
employee status. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week aligned with school
calendar. Immediate start with hire within 1-2 weeks of job offer.
