Description Position at Village Children's Academy Village Children's Academy is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teacher s to support the following age groups: Preschool To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a CDA or at Least 6 ECE college level credits , and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous experience working with infants! Main Job Responsibilities: Lead with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center. Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative , and physical development . Take direction, accept constructive criticism , and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program . Creat e and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children. Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children. Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running , and climbing stairs.
