ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Manufacturing Engineer is a unique and
important role at MISUMI USA. - It requires a combination of CAM
feature-based machining experience and excellent communication
skills to help our OEM customers design customer factory automation
components. - The position is responsible for development and
enhancement of MISUMI's innovative Digital Manufacturing systems
and products. - Using your knowledge of manufacturing processes,
back-end systems, supplier development, and cost improvement, you
will lead front and back-end operations and be responsible for
managing the processes that fit the market needs. If you are an

responsibilities:
Support Back-End system and -CAM
developmentReview market and business analyses of Digital
Manufacturing drawing requirements to develop new product and
capability needsManage project progress and develop countermeasures
to resolve issues with new front- or back-end processes to prevent
reoccurrence, improve efficiency, and enable growthEfficiently
manage development projects collaboratively across multiple
departments in accordance with ISO standards and stage-gate process
to ensure products are completed on-time and meet all quality
standardsImplement strategic initiatives quickly and effectively,
create project timelines, goals, and countermeasures, track and
report KPI'sExpand Digital Manufacturing capabilities to increase
product offerings, revenue, and market share in new growth sectors
As the manufacturing and system capabilities leader, provide
technical expertise to support to internal teams' needsPromote and
educate internal customers such as engineers, product managers, and
sales team on Digital Manufacturing Capabilities Manage costs to
increase profitability of Digital Manufacturing productsPrepare and
present project progress reports, group KPIs, and activitiesWHAT WE
NEED FROM YOU
BS in Mechanical or Manufacturing
Engineering or Factory Automation -3+ years of relevant experience
with machined component design and manufacturing, preferably with
-some on-the-floor manufacturing experienceExpert knowledge of 3D
CAD/CAMKnowledge of Feature Based Machining requiredExperience
leading multiple projects and timelines simultaneouslyStrategic,
analytical, self-motivated, driven and results oriented High
organizational and leadership skills to execute, evaluate, and
adjust tactics quickly, lead team members, and coordinate other
departments Experience working in an international environment
