Job Description Job Description CAD Drafter Job Description We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer with experience using AutoCAD or SolidWorks! Great opportunity with a great company. Responsibilities Create detailed drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Draft 3D assembly drawings Manage files within SolidWorks Participate in client meetings and paperwork handling as needed. Essential Skills Experience from school or basic CAD drafting experience, particularly with SolidWorks assembly drawings. Familiarity with file management within SolidWorks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Hands-on electrical or mechanical experience is highly preferred. SolidWorks Certification (CSWP) is a plus. Associates Degree or Bachelor's in Engineering Technology is advantageous. Work Environment 90% of the time will be spent designing in SolidWorks. The remaining 10% may involve observing the manufacturing floor or participating in customer meetings and paperwork. The role offers plenty of room for growth, with opportunities to transition into engineering roles. Training will be provided Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bartlett, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.25/hr.
