Job Description Job Description General Position Summary This position is responsible for creating and managing Pre-Press artwork and client files. Essential Job Functions Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. ? Analyze files provided by clients or in-house design teams and assess suitability for printing, checking, and double-checking critical aspects of images and text ? Troubleshoot and fix file issues, including alignment, color, clarity, and other image and typography problems, as well as manipulating for bleeds ? Create proofs for client or design team review, making needed adjustments in response to feedback, then creating new proofs until the final design is approved ? Perform light maintenance of equipment, including software updates and replacement of consumable supplies as needed ? Develops product illustrations ? Determines size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material ? Selects colors, fonts, photographs, layout, and other design elements to communicate creative concepts ? Designs visual concepts using graphic design tools including design software ? Use Iridesse Xerox and computer for cutting prints ? Create and edit box files on Artios CAD ?
