Job Description:

TITLE: Technical Manager REPORTS TO: Vice President of Cutting Tools, CTUSA Summary/Objective Responsible for leading the technical team, which includes product management. Responsible for the leading the product management team which has responsibility for ensuring the product range for the US is always relevant for the market, forming business strategies, and driving marketing initiatives. Focus team to be ---Voice of the Customer--- and developing product portfolio range that is competitive and profitable. Additional responsibility for commercial technical training program for CERATIZIT USA, and training center. Providing tailored technical training for customers, distributors and employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure profitable sales, margin and profit targets with product management. Ensure CTUS Sales employees have detailed knowledge of CERATIZIT product range. Manage technical training for CTUS sales employees on catalogue Carry out market and product analysis for new and existing products in the US range. Identify suitable additions to product range and present business case Manage technical and marketing information / proof reading (catalogs, special offers, new brochures etc.) Develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with Sales Management, Sales team, Marketing, Engineering and Internal Stakeholders, in-order to ensure regular communication and exchange of information. Elicit and translate business and/or technical needs into services requirements from the team. Hands on experience in converting business requirements into actionable requirement for teams. Gather business requirements and develop training platform to meet requirements. Manage Business expectations, facilitating communications and contributing to business satisfaction during and after training sessions. Ensure that all quality controls are identified, in place, and reviewed with training content and delivery. Observe and monitor competitor activities Participate at trade fairs/ exhibitions as needed SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: --- Bachelor of Business Administration, BA/BS engineering or equivalent --- 6-7 years direct experience-managing requirements for customer facing or enterprise products. --- Past Experience in Product Management, and Technical training a plus --- Service Oriented --- Self-motivated, innovative person with analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to changes and new ideas. --- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, culturally diverse environment. --- Must be able to communicate well with very strong technical team and business users --- Ability to understand and internalize business processes in order to define system configurations to support those processes. --- Ability to manage the requirements gathering process between an integrated team of stakeholders and various internal resources including product managers, sale employees, customers and distributors. --- Experience in managing a team
