overwhelming healthcare system.The Sr. Manager, Core Technologies &
Operations is responsible for providing effective IT Infrastructure
architecture, engineering, and support services (processes,
deliveries, operations) on a 24x7 basis.You'll enjoy the

take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Engineering, Project Delivery services
- Escalated support for multiple technologies
- Standardizing Core Technologies delivery and engineering
frameworks, processes and ensuring world-class delivery of
Technology Infrastructure architecture, engineering, & support
services
- Ensure proper hand-off with full
documentation/knowledge-transfer occurs (post project delivery,
post-warranty-period, post-releases) into Operations team(s) (both
within and outside the group)
- Implementation and testing of data center & site level Disaster
Recovery plans and processes for restoration of services in event
of disasters or significant outages
- Establishing a DevOps capability that drives faster and
improved quality delivery of pre-production environments
(development, unit/integrated testing, QA, integration,
load/performance, etc.) used by product and software teams
- Establishes standards, roadmap, and delivery of infrastructure
automation aimed at reducing manual work (provisioning,
monitoring/alerting, etc.)
- Provide vision and leadership toward establishing world-class
service-delivery model that promotes continuous quality improvement
and stakeholder management
- Assisting the VP of Infrastructure and Exec Dir of Core
Technologies/Infra Services with planning/management of budgets,
forecasts, staffing related decisions, outside services vendor
management, maintenance and capital spend oversight
- Grows, develops team-members (including ownership of tech
talent pipeline and succession planning)
- Provides technical leadership to successfully develop and
execute departmental and company objectives. Establishes and
maintains relationships with key service providers and technology
partners
- Hands-on leadership over staff by establishing group and
individual staff goals, balancing priorities and work assignments
to ensure project delivery (against agreed upon plan and
KPIs/service levels) are met and completed successfully
- Plans and directs the work for assigned staff and evaluates
work products. Meets with staff to identify/resolve problems and
develop initiatives for process improvement
- Assumes delivery responsibility for deployment, management,
improvement of IT infrastructure technologies & processes in both
production and pre-production environments
- Establishes, implements, and enforces standards, technology
lifecycle targets, procedures, and service levels owned
technologies to ensure commitments and targets are met
- Collaborates in the development of IT General Computing
Controls related to Security (data, physical, systems,
infrastructure) and other aspects of IT operations
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring and reporting on IT controls
compliance
- Works collaboratively with IT Management to establish
monitoring standards/metrics
- Evaluates and provides leadership for the implementation of
recommendations to enhance engineering & operational effectiveness
and performance
- Ensures that appropriate tools or mechanisms exist to
continuously improve delivery of technologies, and monitoring of
infrastructure & systems to identify utilization and performance
issues
- In conjunction with other IT functional areas, plans and
manages the implementation of new technologies, including
deployment of physical equipment, Data Center capacity planning,
and operationalizing new business processes
- Works within and with other IT departments to define
appropriate strategies for improving processes and procedures,
develop and implement changes and improvements
- Participates in ITSM/Service Management process improvement
activities
- Identifies process failures and improvement opportunities and
ensures implementation and measurement of implemented actions.
Works with IT leadership to prioritize improvements
- Completes other projects and duties as assignedYou'll be

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ -years of experience leading growing/large scale IT
infrastructure organizations encompassing domains outlined
- 7+ -years of experience delivery of IT services and IT
scaling
- 5+ years general progressive IT experience

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or
equivalent industry experience
- Broad-based experience with a variety of infrastructure
technology platforms, including Applications Hosting platforms
(Wintel, Unix/Linux); Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare); Networking;
DB: Oracle, MongoDB, SQL; Puppet/Chef automation tools; DevOps
tools/concepts; Cloud computing (Azure, GCP, AWS)
- Proven experience in leading and managing complex enterprise
infrastructure & applications operations in high availability
platform environments
- Experience using data integration/job automation systems, data
backup/restore systems, and other operations
applications/tools
- Experience in managing significant vendor partnerships with
tier-1 technology vendors
- Proven experience is successfully delivering infrastructure to
support demanding business project timelines and quality
standards
- Experience in developing leaders and large complex teams
operating at a national/global level
- Experience interfacing with Business users
- Firm understanding of computer security technologies and
policy, and internal/external audit controls compliance
- Proven ability to communicate professionally in a corporate
environment, work in cross-functional collaborative teams and
implement organizational change management

Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is
$54,400 to $97,000. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada
residents is $60,000 to $106,700. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
