Zurich North America is seeking a talented DIEB Manager. This role
reports to the Regional Head of DIEB. This role will be hybrid 1-2
days a week in our Schaumburg, IL headquarters.
In this role you will be a manager of projects and strategic
partner relationships of the Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, &
Belonging (DIEB) function, this role does not have direct reports.
In this role you will further progress a culture of DIEB through
the execution of organizational strategy. As well as partnering
with extended human resources teams to build the infrastructure of
a long-term, sustainable DIEB practice while helping drive belief
in DIEB through all levels of the organization.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide expertise in DIEB subject-matter in the implementation of
DIEB initiatives, including but not limited to recruitment,
selection, assessment, training and compliance.
Manage the analytics function for the office of DIEB - deliver
analysis and provide insights to allow data driven decisions.
Establish and manage internal DIEB communication cadence to tell
the DIEB story; explore external communication opportunities.
Develop content for DIEB presentations and communications, working
collaboratively with organizational business partners.
Perform competitive analysis on DIEB strategies and tactics.
Develop metrics reporting and processes to measure engagement and
progress.
Provide input and make recommendations on DIEB investments in
relation to function's budget.
Keep current on industry issues and developments by maintaining
contact with others in field, attending industry events and
utilizing professional and educational research
Demonstrate a passion for and serve as a change agent for cultural
diversity in a corporate environment.
Basic Qualification:
Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of combined business
experience in the Diversity and Inclusion, Operations, Consulting,
or Program Management areaOR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of combined
business experience in the Diversity and Inclusion, Operations,
Consulting, or Program Management areaOR
Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree
and 6 or more years of combined business experience in the
Diversity and Inclusion, Operations, Consulting, or Program
Management areaAND
Experience in the Diversity & Inclusion area whether by formal job
or engagement in other business activities
Experience developing and presenting strategic communication
Experience with data analytics and preparing metrics
Project management experience
Preferred Qualification:
Experience working within a shared service platform and
collaborating to accomplish goals and objectives
Experience in Diversity Program Management
Familiarity with HR data
Strong analytical and strategic skills
Advanced presentation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with influence management
Project Management Professional (PMP)
