Director of Facilities Management - Hospital SettingMLee
Healthcare has been engaged by a client to recruit a Director of
Facilities Management for their growing team in northern Illinois.
Qualifications: A Bachelor s degree and/or five or more years of
experience in hospital maintenance and/or construction experience
within a healthcare setting are requiredThis role requires you to
be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or
federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption
is approved) Broad knowledge of TJC, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other
government, state and local regulatory agency standards
requiredResponsibilities:The Director Facilities Management
position is responsible for overall operations of the Facility
Management Services (FMS), and Safety departments, as
applicableResponsibilities for this position may include building
and equipment maintenance, design and construction activities,
central plant operations, and ground maintenance for the hospital
complexThe Director of Facilities Management position serves as
advisor for facility issues and initiates and supports leadership
development programsThe Director position responsibilities include
overseeing the activities of the department staff, ensuring
quality, productivity, functional excellence and efficiency to
accomplish strategic and operational objectives This position also
ensures training, monitoring and operations initiatives are
implemented which secure compliance with ethical and legal business
practices and accreditation/regulatory/government regulations If
