Horizon Way, Deerfield, IL 60015Position Title: Manager, Commercial
AnalyticsHours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/
WeekSummary of Duties: Develop and deliver business insights for
the Inflammation Business Unit, with a strong focus on translating
and enhancing the utilization of data and analytics. Leverage
internal and external data sources and utilize the most relevant
visualization and reporting tools. Direct projects in strategic
planning, development and delivery of commercial business analytics
to inform, facilitate and drive key business decision making.
Support the HorizonCares program by managing complex data capture
processes, analyzing KPI trends, and proactively identifying areas
of concern in the business. Serve as internal consultant and
subject matter expert while partnering with Pharmacy Operations,
Sales, Marketing, Managed Markets, Finance, Regulatory and Medical
Affairs, etc. to ensure effective cross-functional communication
and alignment on commercial analytics and insights. Communicate
information and intelligence to drive critical business decisions.
Provide accurate and in-depth analyses to cross-functional
leadership teams and serve as an integral part of the extended
commercial team(s). Develop actionable insights to key unanswered
business questions. Collaborate with the Marketing team to fulfill
data analysis needs in support of key strategic initiatives, which
balance personal and non-personal promotion. Support initiatives to
segment and track physician behavior focused on driving optimal
promotional efforts leveraging expertise in manipulation of large
data sets. Participate in the planning, execution, analysis and
reporting of primary and secondary market research findings.
Utilize business knowledge, analytics and research findings to
influence marketing and sales strategy and objectives. Participate
on cross- functional teams bringing an enhanced understanding of
available data, analyses, and brand performance.Qualifications: The
position requires a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Finance, Data
Science, or a related quantitative field and four (4) years of
experience as a Data Scientist II or a related occupation.
Alternatively, Employer will accept a Master's degree in
Quantitative Finance, Data Science, or related quantitative field
and two (2) years of experience as a Data Scientist II or a related
occupation.The position requires experience in the following:
Analytical and software skills aimed at data analysis, including
SAS Experience with Excel; Utilizing PowerPoint Proficient for
interpretation of pharmaceutical data including Rx, physician and
claims level data sets; Developing and presenting solutions to
complex business situations, supported by analytics.Our
