professional lives. Position Summary: The Manager Commercial
Analytics GBU engages in strategic projects and delivers predictive
insights for the Gout BU, with a strong focus on translating and
enhancing the utilization of analytics in decision-making and
predictions. This position will be instrumental in working to meet
strategic business needs with effective technological solutions,
further expanding the impact and footprint of analytics across the
organization.Responsibilities:Strategic Engagements:
- Deep dive into value creation initiatives leveraging insights
and real time feedback from brand leadership. Key thought partner
to the broader organization and bridge between the general manager
of the Gout BU and analytics.Predictive Analytics:
- Derive impactful and actionable insights from historical sales
and pharmaceutical claims data. Use pharmaceutical claims data to
better understand patient journey, patient and HCP behavior, and
identify future patients and potential HCPs for the sales force to
engage. Systems & Tools Optimization:
- Define requirements in tool specifications that improve
insights and increase efficiency resulting in greater overall
throughput for the analytics team. Partner with technology teams to
ensure fast and effective implementation of system
upgrades.Qualifications and Skills Required:
- BA/BS required
- 5+ years of experience in finance, data analysis, strategy
consulting or other quantitative fields
- Demonstrated success developing and presenting solutions to
complex business situations, supported by sound and thorough
analytics
- Highly proficient analytical and software skills aimed at data
analysis
- Demonstrated proficiency in data management and data platforms
(such as Microsoft SQL Server), statistical modeling packages (such
as Python, SAS, and/or, R) and general office productivity software
(such as Microsoft Office)
- Strong ability to effectively analyze/interpret marketing data
to identify risks and opportunities to the company
- High degree of independence and exceptional work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, proactive demeanor
