Zurich is currently looking for a Visualization Manager to work out of our North American headquarters in Schaumburg, IL.Day-to-day responsibilities of this position:Coach and mentor a team of visualization developers and offshore ETL resourcesFoster rapport with Product Owners regarding visualization effortsEnsure proper resource allocation is available for future work effortsBasic Qualifications: Bachelor''s Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Application Design and Development areaORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Application Design and Development areaPreferred Qualifications:People management experienceExperience developing insightful, visually compelling, and engaging dashboards that support decision makingSkilled at data exploration; able to quickly transform and synthesize data from multiple sources and identify optimal data structures to support end-state reporting needsStrong, continuous, attention to detail on optimizing reporting products to be performant, scalable, and secureExperience operating within a fast-paced agile environment where you actively partner with end-users and team members of both functional and technical backgroundsCustomer-focused and dedicated to understanding and learning about customer needs and requirementsAgile team experienceAs a condition of employment at Zurich, employees must adhere to our COVID-related health and safety protocols (including, without limitation, a requirement that employees attest as to their vaccination status with a YES/NO, and upload proof of vaccination status, or a negative COVID test result when applicable, to a third-party vendor.
