Job Description:

Our client, a real estate company, is looking for a Health and Welfare Benefits Manager to join their team in the Schaumburg, IL. In this position, you will be managing the overall administration of the company's welfare and health plans. You will also be leading multiple annual and strategic projects. This position, based on experience, pays anywhere from $100k to $125k. This is a fully onsite role joining a family-knit team with a great company culture.About You:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or other related field5+ years of experience managing health & welfare plans within a mid- to- large sized company, payroll experience highly preferred but not requiredExcellent analytical and communication skills and experience in analyzing healthcare costs and trendsKnowledge of ACA, COBRA, FMLA, HIPPA and other federal regulations regarding benefit plansAbility to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlinesDemonstrated ability to plan and supervise the work of othersResponsibilities:Manage the overall administration of the Company's group health and welfare plansBudget and analyze medical, prescription and dental costsActively manage day-to-day relationships with vendor partners and recordkeepersCalculate and determine annual employee premiums and COBRA premium ratesEvaluate, plan, and recommend benefit programs based on overall effectiveness, benchmarks, business strategy and cost impactBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
