Sanitation Management Opening for a Food Manufacturing company located in Southern Chicago near Chicago Heights with Hours from Wed-Sun 2p-11pLeadership Opportunity - Sanitation Manager Food industryKey Accountabilities:Ensure that our products meet the company's standards and specificationsMust understand and follow all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)Food Safety and Quality Standard Requirements are being maintained dailyMust understand and comply with the company Allergen, Food Defense, and HACCP policiesMust communicate with Supervision of any Food Safety and Equipment concernsFollow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for the area workedEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with leadershipWork with Supervision and maintenance to maintain equipment in good working conditionPerform all other work assigned duties as required by plant leadership Keep work area and machinery cleanMust comply with all safety policies and procedures at all timesRequired to maintain a safe and clean work environmentRequirements/Skills:Ensure the manufacturing plant is cleaned according to the company, FDA, QA, and BRC requirementsEnsure employees are trained, and Master Sanitation Schedule is implementedMaintain and improve on the quality, legality, and safety of each product and the processes used in their manufactureKeep bakery work area clean and tidy at all times and report any potential contamination and suspicious activity to a manager immediatelyPlan, coordinate, monitor, direct and continually improve all aspects of the sanitation functionLead the sanitation group to meet its cleaning responsibilities within available time schedulesEnsure complete training of all employees for proper sanitation procedures, safety procedures, lockout-tag out, emergency evacuation, monitor employee GMP, and HACCP programs to maintain company and all regulatory requirementsManage chemical usage and supply control programs for inventories, operational and cost efficiencyConduct full sanitation audits relating to procedures, quality, safety, and tear downs for complianceMonitor equipment for routine maintenance/repair for GMP complianceReview performance, provide coaching & counseling, mentoring as needed to increase present performanceAssure that the workforce receives adequate training and supplemental review on the safe and effective use of equipment and suppliesHours from Wed-Sun 2p-11p in South Chicago near Chicago HeightsIf interested please apply below or send a copy of your updated resume to SGoudy judge.comThanks!We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for career advancement. if interested please apply below or send me a updated resume to SGoudy judge.comhttps://www.judge.com/jobs/details/973514/UI971203
