seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our expanding
hospital!Who We Are:VCA Schaumburg is a full service, veterinary
hospital offering preventative/routine medical care, emergency
care, and hospitalization. In addition to our general Veterinary
services, we offer advanced services such as cold laser therapy,
ultrasound, orthopedic surgeries, and advanced soft tissue
surgeries.Job Snapshot:Whether you are a seasoned Veterinary
Assistant or a Technician in training, we want you to use the
knowledge that youve invested your time and talent in. The skills
that will be utilized include, but are not limited to:Providing
support to the entire veterinary hospital staffEnsure there is a
clean, comfortable environment for patients and clientsEnsuring
that treatment areas and exam rooms remain fully stockedRestrain
animals during examinations or vaccinationsKeep accurate records
and logsSterilize equipmentObserving patients for obvious signs of
health concerns and reporting any findings to senior
staffRequirements:2+ years experience working in a Veterinary
Clinic or enrolled in a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary
