professional lives. Position Summary: Reporting to the Senior
Director of Global Medical Outcomes Research and Evidence, this
role will help shape, in collaboration with team leads from Medical
Affairs, Clinical Development, and commercial access, Horizon's
global footprint by bringing therapies to patients and their
treating physicians around the world. Responsibilities: This role
is responsible for providing strategic medical and scientific HEOR
expertise and execution of projects supporting Horizon assets from
a global perspective. Responsibilities include, but are not limited
to: Provide medical and scientific HEOR support for Horizon's
assets Executes HEOR research using internal and external datasets,
including creating protocols and statistical analysis plans,
executing research, and generating final reports for publication
(manuscripts, posters, presentations). Presenting formally and
informally the results of research to a diverse group of
stakeholders. Develops and executes HEOR projects, including
writing RFP, vendor selection, and management, including budget.
Proficient at economic modeling and development of strategic plans,
studies, and analyses to support patient access and value-based
outcomes, all within a highly matrixed team environment Building
integrated RWE generation and communication plans in close
collaborations with the product asset team. Sets the strategic
direction and execution of projects in partnership with the
cross-functional teams to generate data to answer decision-maker's
complex economic questions on the value of Horizon's products and
disease areas of focus. Qualifications and Skills Required:
Doctorate-level degree (M.D., Ph.D., Pharm.D.) in the life
sciences, including relevant training or employment in health
economics, public health, or epidemiology desired. Master's degree
in public health and epidemiology would be considered for highly
experienced candidates Minimum 2 years of HEOR experience in the
pharmaceutical industry HEOR experience preferred but not limited
to the following: developing HEOR evidence generation and
communication plans, engagement with HTA stakeholders, payer and
reimbursement health systems for major markets, AMCP and global
value dossier development, HEOR-driven study protocol development
(e.g., the burden of illness and treatment, cost-effectiveness/QALY
assessments, systematic literature reviews, patient-reported
outcomes, and registries, indirect treatment comparison,
prevalence/epi studies, PRO assessments, etc.) Rare or complex
disease experience preferred Experience with International
alliances, partnerships, and distributors is helpful Demonstrated
self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mindset Professional,

and verbal communication skills Travel - approximately 25% with
