Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Days
Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of current CVICU
experience, open-heart experience required License: Must have an
active Illinois nursing license included in submission
Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS Must-Have: COVID and
flu vaccination required, declinations will not be approved Prior
Cerner experience strongly preferred Thoracic, vascular,
interventional experience preferred Description: Responsible for
assessing physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of each
patient within assigned unit area. Plans nursing care to meet those
needs. Ensures that nursing care plans are carried out through
performance and/or leadership of subordinate personnel. Conducts
patient evaluations. Performs documentation of patient progress,
treatment planning, and discharge functions.
