We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Apr 13, 2026. This role offers flexible scheduling with day (7a-7p) and night (7p-7a) shifts, with a typical commitment of 10-15 shifts per month. Job Details - Location: Kentucky - Start Date: Apr 13, 2026 - LOA: 60 days - Provider Type Needed: Emergency Medicine Physician - Schedule: Day shifts (7a-7p) or night shifts (7p-7a), 10-15 shifts per month Responsibilities and Duties - Provide emergency medical evaluation and treatment to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries - Work collaboratively with advanced practice providers and nursing staff - Respond to trauma, cardiac, pediatric, and other urgent care situations - Perform clinical procedures as necessary in an emergency medicine setting - Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters - Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality of care Additional Information - Must have 3 years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine - Active Kentucky medical license required - Required board certifications: Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine - Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Flexibility to work assigned shifts Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
