We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a 119-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan, starting Feb 2, 2026. This opportunity features day shifts with no Thursdays, caring for all ages in a primary care setting for employee health and their dependents. Job Details - Location: Michigan - Start Date: Feb 2, 2026 - LOA: 119 days - Provider Type Needed: Family Nurse Practitioner - Schedule: - Monday/Wednesday/Friday 7am-5pm EST - Tuesday 8am-6pm EST - No Thursdays Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive primary care for employees and their dependents - Manage general primary care cases across all age groups - Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning - Prescribe medications in accordance with DEA regulations - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed Additional Information - Must have active Michigan NP license - Required certifications: Family Medicine, Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) - Minimum 3 recent years of true primary care experience required - Must be comfortable seeing patients of all ages - One day of online training required prior to start Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
