Registered Nurse - Infusion Oncology – UHC Staffing Registered
Nurse - Infusion Oncology Location: Janesville, WI Start Date:
02-02-2026 End Date: 03-30-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Four 10-hour days (specific days may vary), 8:00 AM -
6:30 PM (day shift); may include variable shifts, weekends,
holidays and on-call as needed Hours per Week: 40 Candidate Pay

Roles & Responsibilities Provide compassionate, culturally
sensitive oncology infusion nursing care using the nursing process
Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized
plans of care in collaboration with the care team Administer
chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other prescribed medications safely
and in compliance with policy and state practice acts Monitor
patients during infusion, manage side effects, and escalate
concerns promptly to the appropriate provider Complete accurate,
timely documentation to reflect assessments, interventions and
patient education Deliver clear, empathetic patient and family
education about treatments, side effects and self-care Participate
in unit performance improvement, shared governance and
evidence-based practice initiatives Support clinic flow by
responding to telephone triage, coordinating care, and occasionally
floating to other units as needed Qualifications WI RN or Compact
RN License (required) BLS/CPR certification (required) ONS
Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification (required) Experience
administering oncology infusions, chemotherapy and immunotherapy
Comfortable with IV/infusion therapy, medication administration and
patient assessment Ability to float to other units based on
clinical competency and staffing needs Strong communication skills
and a patient-centered approach Knowledge & Skills Oncology
infusion and chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration Infusion
therapy and IV management Medication administration best practices
and safe handling Patient assessment, documentation and care
planning Telephone triage and effective clinical communication
