Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide skilled nursing care in an operating room setting with a focus on ophthalmology and general surgery using DaVinci robotic technology. This contract position requires proficiency in circulating and scrubbing duties within the operating room. Key Qualifications: Active Illinois RN license Minimum 2 years of operating room nursing experience Experience with Epic electronic medical records system Previous completion of at least one travel nursing contract Proficiency in circulating and scrubbing for ophthalmology procedures Familiarity with DaVinci Robot-assisted general surgery Current BLS certification Location:This role is based in Glenview, IL, a vibrant suburb located approximately 28 miles north of downtown Chicago. Responsibilities: Perform circulating and scrub nurse duties in the operating room Assist with ophthalmology and robotic general surgery cases Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure patient safety Utilize Epic for documentation and patient care management Participate in weekend on-call rotation (minimum 2 hours call back) Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures for infection control and patient safety Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hours per week) Weekend on-call rotation required Additional Information: The assignment length is 13 weeks, starting in early March through the end of May Orientation available any weekday prior to start date Credentials including CBC, drug screen, and QuantiFERON Gold required within 90 days before start date This opportunity offers the chance to work within a strong, collaborative OR team in a well-established hospital setting.
