Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Janesville, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,272 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Schedule Hours per Shift: Guaranteed 36 hours Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Active RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS Must-Have: - Active RN Licensure - BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Certifications - TNCC or TNS Description: We are looking for an experienced Emergency Room Nurse for this position. The role requires active RN licensure. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients. The nurse will administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and procedures. Documentation will be performed according to standards of care. The nurse will perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care. A patient plan of care will be developed, initiated, and executed according to the individualized needs of the patient. The nurse will participate in department or unit performance improvement activities. Utilizing clinical expertise, the nurse will provide guidance to other departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care. Critical thinking regarding patient safety and experience will be essential, with appropriate escalation to the chain of command as necessary. The nurse will participate in professional nursing activities and peer review processes. Holiday coverage may be required.
