CT Tech Location: Oak Lawn, IL Agency: Jackson HealthPros Pay: $3,021 to $3,221 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/12/2026 About the Position Become a vital part of a Health System team in Oak Lawn, IL as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials according to protocol, and operate CT equipment for a busy hospital setting treating adult and pediatric trauma and stroke patients. Minimum Requirements: 2 years CT technologist experience required. Must have minimum 2 years working with trauma and advanced CT procedures. Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography or CT program. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or Radiography with CT credentialing. Current BLS certification. Current Illinois radiologic technologist license (IEMA or state equivalent). Required experience with EPIC charting system. Required experience with GE and Philips CT equipment. Required experience performing CTA, stroke protocols, biopsies, drains, cardiac and general anatomy CT studies; Level 1 trauma experience required. Ability to provide 1:1 patient care during scans. Preferred: IV start experience. Assignment Details Facility type: Health System (hospital setting, Level 1 trauma center). Shift: Days, 0700-1900 (12-hour shifts). Schedule: 3x12 day rotation with every 3rd weekend rotation. Standard hours per week: 36. Orientation: 1 week of day-shift orientation. Patient types: Adults and pediatrics; stroke, CTA, biopsies, drains, calcium scoring, cardiac, abdomen/pelvis, head/chest/extremities. Floating: Mid-shift floating to inpatient imaging center may be required. Charting system: EPIC required. Location Highlights Oak Lawn, IL offers convenient access to Chicago and regional recreation. Oak Lawn is approximately 15 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, about a 30–45 minute commute depending on traffic, and sits near major transit routes including I?294 and I?55. The area provides access to urban amenities such as the Art Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park within a 30–45 minute drive, as well as nearby outdoor recreation at Cook County Forest Preserves and 5–10 mile access to local parks and golf courses, suitable for suburban and commuter lifestyles. Standard Job Description: As a CT Technologist you will interpret physician orders, prepare patients for CT exams, administer contrast agents per protocol, monitor patient status during procedures, and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and allied health staff to support a high-acuity trauma and stroke service line.
