As the first person to greet customers, you will check guests in, make reservations, recommend local activities or restaurants, and arrange transportation. Responsibilities:

Serve as a point of contact for guests who seek assistance or information, and listen to their wishes and needs
Advise guests on food and venue recommendations, gather in-depth knowledge about the premises as well as surrounding local venues and businesses
Receive and distribute messages and mail, as well as divert calls by answering the phone and making appointments
Coordinate events, excursions, and transportation for hotel guests as needed
Receive guests upon arrival, welcome them to the property, and confirm their reservations
--- Servicing hotel guest requests for beverages and food in the M Lounge
--- Set up and tear down all foods and beverages
--- Clean equipment, tables, and chairs
--- Stock beer, liquor, and wines to maintain par levels set by management to ensure guest satisfaction
--- Attend scheduled training meetings for new products, company, and state-mandated alcohol awareness education.
--- Perform job functions that require lifting weight up to 40 lbs, standing for long periods, bending, stooping, reaching overhead, and moving throughout the kitchen and -lounge - -

Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations
Local knowledge of the area to recommend restaurants and activities to guests
Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
--- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
--- Minimum of one year experience as a server in a hotel or restaurant catering to comparable clientele
--- TIPS/Safe serve/ or any equivalent safe serving alcohol certification required
