work.(sm)Working with Software Engineering teams; evaluate system
specifications, provision and support delivery of application
infrastructure.You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from
anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough
challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Define and drive VPC decisions to ensure the stability,
reliability and availability of applications and services
- Create and maintain IAC using Terraform, Chef, Puppet, and/or
Ansible
- Create and configure CI pipeline supporting Continuous
Delivery
- Negotiate and document agreed upon standards to support
auto-scaling infrastructure
- Administer Windows and Linux Servers including configuration,
patching and ensure overall server health
- Analyze all aspects of existing application infrastructure and
recommend modifications that will enhance application reliability,
availability and scalability
- Engage in capacity planning and demand forecasting; software
performance analysis and system tuning
- Performance analysis using APM and other monitoring tools to
identify system performance issues and bottlenecks
- Integrate Splunk Observability Suite with applications and
infrastructure
- Analyze dump files and error codes
- Provide Root Cause Analysis
- Troubleshoot, research and analyze complex problems
- Provide Support in for Continuous Integration and Continuous
Delivery
- Be involved in solving moderately complex problems and/or
conduct moderately complex analysis
- Provide explanation and information to others including Senior
Leadership on challenging issues
- Identify / quantify scope and impact of business changes on
systems
- Define processes and patterns for team members to follow
- Maintain awareness of current technology assets, and the
applicability and capability of each
- Participate in on - call rotation maintaining application
availability

you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience supporting, configuring and engineering
applications in the Cloud
- Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure problems in
an enterprise environment
- Experience mentoring, leading other team members by defining
processes and patterns
- Experience with three tier network architecture design
- Understanding of Microservice design principles, patterns, and
best practices
- Working knowledge of ORDBMS and NoSQL databasesPreferred
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Windows OR Linux / UNIX System Administration
experience
- Any relevant industry certifications
- Experience configuring and supporting network switches,
routers, firewalls
- Experience deploying and supporting applications in the cloud
including DR across regions (Azure preferred)
- Experience with Splunk Observability Suite
- Experience with app and web server configuration and
maintenance (JBoss, WebSphere, Apache Tomcat)
- Experience managing and deploying container based applications
(Kubernetes, Openshift)
- Scripting Experience (Bash, Ruby, Python etc.)
- Understanding of J2EE, RESTful webservice design and
implementation, Springboot, Spring Cloud, Eureka, Spring Security,
JSON, YAML, Markdown, WSDL, XML, ANT, Maven, Python
- Knowledge and understanding of network theory, such as
different protocols (TCP / IP, UDP, ICMP, etc.), MAC addresses, IP
packets, DNS, OSI layers, and load balancing)
- Working knowledge of ORDBMS and NoSQL databases
- Adaptable and able to work on multiple projects at the same
time
- Ability to communicate analysis including trends and

Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to
$146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is
$90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but
not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
