naviHealth (nH) is building an ecosystem of partnerships in area of
Post-Acute care with a goal of providing highly efficient and cost
effective post-acute patient care software solutions. Navihealth is
looking to hire a senior-level DevOps Engineer who has experience
in AWS management, Ubuntu linux, networking and security. This role
is embedded with a small, highly productive software development
team that owns the support of their production environment and
development environments. In addition to DevOps work, an ideal
candidate will have the skill to develop new functionality in the
application. The software development environment includes Python,
Django, Javascript, PostgreSQL, all of which can be learned on the
job by a candidate with solid skills in similar technologies.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within
the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
This team maintains an application for the Patient Navigation
Solution.
Key responsibilities include;
Maintaining the application environment to ensure the processes are
running smoothly with minimal interruption to business
operations
Developing new functionality to support the reliability of the
application environment
Developing new functionality to meet growing and changing business
needs
Testing new functionality
Create an environment of continuous integration and delivery with
early error detection during development.
Develop and maintain a continuous and on-demand automated software
build and release
Work with cross functional teams to drive and deploy improvement
initiatives
Troubleshoot follow-through issues and actions and drive them to
completion in a timely fashion
Provide system admin for tools, such as: Python, Django,
Javascript, PostgreSQL, JIRA, BitBucket, GoDaddy, Twilio, AWS,
Interfax
Keep abreast of technical and industry developments

Required Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study
3+ years of experience in a Dev Ops Position or equivalent
Knowledge of all and mastery of many of the following
product/technologies: - AWS
Networking
Security
Preferred Qualifications:
Ubuntu or similar experience strongly preferred
3+ years in software development stronlgy preferred.
Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented,
collaborative environment
Knowledge of the following technologies:
Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up,
always-available service
Python, Django, Javascript, PostgresSQL, JIRA, BitBucket, GoDaddy,
Twilio, Interfax
Ability to conduct research into software-related issues

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range
for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for
Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based
on several factors including but not limited to education, work
experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,
