Job Description:
As a Senior Developer Support Engineer, you will be working with
some of the biggest names in the gaming industry, helping our
customers succeed by providing expert support for our Multiplayer
Product Suite. Youll focus on assisting customers in integrating
the Unified Multiplayer Services SDK and associated services into
their Unity projects. In this role, youll be devoting your
expertise with Cloud related infrastructure as well as
object-oriented programming to approach technically demanding
challenges. You will be working at scale with cloud-hosted
workloads, leveraging your knowledge in GCP, AWS, and Azure. Your
advanced debugging skills and experience in troubleshooting SDK
integration issues will be crucial in this role. Youll be tasked
with both resolving complex issues directly and leading technical
dialogues to drive quick and efficient resolutions. Whether
providing comprehensive consultations and tests for customers or
responding to their live issues as part of an incident group,
you’ll be the difference between success and failure for some of
the biggest titles hitting the market today. Youll provide
comprehensive consultations and testing for customers, and respond
to critical live issues as part of an incident response team,
significantly impacting the success of major game titles in todays

to apply. What youll be doing • Receiving, troubleshooting,
responding to and resolving escalated technically complex issues
for our customers and internal teams • Frequently communicating
with authority and clarity to both our users and internal
stakeholders • Proactively identify and implement improvements to
our teams, processes, and products, and effectively communicate and
drive these changes. • Mentoring and training other members of the
DSE team to ensure we are constantly evolving as a team •
Responding to live customer issues and incidents working as part of
an incident team solving critical problems What were looking for •
Demonstrable experience with an object oriented programming
language • Experience either integrating third party SDKs into
existing projects, or a history of supporting customers to
integrate an SDK into their own projects • Working familiarity with
the Unity engine • Extensive experience working with and
administering Linux machines • Working knowledge of modern cloud
focused technologies and orchestration solutions (Kubernetes, GCP,
Azure) & a demonstrate adaptability and eagerness to learn and work
with new technologies and products regularly. You might also have •
Experience working in the gaming industry, ideally backend systems
for online games • Experience coding in Golang and understanding of
complex database structures • Experience working with game engines,
particularly the Unity editor. • Experience working with machine
automation technologies such as Ansible and Puppet. • Experience
with Prometheus or similar machine data gathering and aggregation
technologies. Additional information • Relocation support is not
