Job Description:

Position Title: Die Cast Operator Wage: $19.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Die Cast Operator position available at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Die Cast Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate the die cast press by loading parts on the caster and cycling. - Inspect and gauge parts, as required. - Adjust the die cast settings, as required. - Perform pre work and finishing functions, such as grinding, skewing and packing. - Unload parts and deliver to next operation. - Complete necessary paperwork. - Postproduction in ERP system. - Assist with continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives. - Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. - Perform other duties as assigned. Die Cast Operator Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment. - Mechanical aptitude. - Previous robotic welding, a plus. - Ability to read and understand calipers, GO/NO GO gauges, height gauges, and feeler gauges. - Ability to read and understand prints, quality requirements, and work instructions. - Ability to trouble-shoot. - Ability to use power tools safely, such as a grinder. monroe@qpsemployment.com IND038 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
