Direct food manufacturing at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)
sites. Plan annual meal production, budget, fundraising, staffing,
and expansion strategies. Ensure site safety and quality regulatory
compliance. Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to assigned
This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position. Typical work
schedule is M-F business hours with occasional evenings and
weekends as needed. Approximately 25% all-expenses-paid domestic
travel is required.

What You’ll Do:
Oversee food manufacturing sites in multiple states. Direct
annual production planning, budgeting, staffing, and expense
control. Responsible for meal production during a 12 hour-per-day,
6 day-per-week schedule.
Develop and execute the site manufacturing production strategy.
Work with the Manufacturing Department Leadership Team to provide
strategy development and oversight in accomplishing department
Manage and evaluate production results, donation rates, and
other pertinent metrics. Collaborate with Development and Marketing
Departments to develop and promote site fundraising techniques.
Direct the selection, hiring and ongoing training of site
managers. Provide direction and assistance to direct reports to
help achieve established goals. Act as a coach in their overall
development and performance.
Responsible for FDA and OSHA regulatory compliance associated
with assigned manufacturing sites.
Participate in the FMSC Management Occupational Safety and Food
Safety Committees. Oversee site implementations of personnel safety
and food safety and quality policies, procedures, and training.
Oversee warehouse operations and inventory turnover at assigned
Oversee all aspects of site expansions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of business leadership experience
required including minimum of 3 years of experience leading,
managing and developing staff. In lieu of degree, relevant
experience will be considered. Regulatory compliance experience
Advanced competencies with Microsoft Excel and database systems
required; proficiency with Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint required.
Proficiency with ERP and point-of-sale systems preferred.
