Job Description Well established contract manufacturing company requires a motivated, detailed, organized person with experience in order entry, customer contact and general office skills to assist our operations and customer service manager. Joining our team will give the right candidate an opportunity to quickly achieve significant responsibility. The right individual must enjoy working within a team dedicated to customer satisfaction. The position requires a versatile self-starter who enjoys engaging in a wide variety of activities which include daily interface with customers and vendors, communication of customer needs to our production personnel, and organization of information within spreadsheets and business management systems. Starting compensation will be commensurate with experience. Education/Background: Strong oral and written communication skills Strong computer skills 3 years experience in a similar work environment Stable work history The ideal candidate will have the following: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent Communication skills Ability to think logically about problems, clearly communicate findings, and propose solutions that address the need Practical ability to gather and interpret data and information Customer service background Multi task while attending to detail Experience communicating production schedules Familiar with cycle counting and inventory processes Understands Bills of Materials Experience arranging freight Customer oriented team player Familiar with ERP systems similar to Fishbowl Familiar with accounting software similar to Quick Books Bilingual a plus Responsibilities: Field calls and emails from customers and vendors Communicate and discuss issues with other team members Help collect data to aid Project Manager in quoting Develop and maintain spreadsheets to aid in customer service Troubleshoot customer and vendor inventory issues Entering and retrieving data in our accounting system Make or gather samples for customers Prepare regulatory reports Report to Operations and Customer Service Manager.
