Overview

The Safety coordinator is the supportive backbone providing the administrative foundation to the rest of the safety team. He or she obtains hands on experience by working on a broad range of tasks to support the Safety Advocates in their quest to proactively create safe work environments for all employees.

Responsibilities

SAFETY

  • Processes safety related information from clients and Safety Advocates
  • Conducts system demonstrations for clients and provides set-up assistance for Assurance's Risk Management Center
  • Maintains a concern for timeliness and completeness when interacting with customers, agency personnel and insurance carrier personnel
  • Communicates safety related concerns to the Safety Advocates as necessary
  • Addresses and resolves client's safety related questions and problems

EXECUTION OF CLIENT SERVICE

  • Supports Safety team members and other internal department members to flawlessly execute Assurance's service strategy for each client, designed to create measurable value and efficiencies in their businesses
  • Processes changes, as needed or requested by the client, checking for consistency and documenting in the appropriate system
  • Builds personalized client relationships through demonstrated understanding of the service plan and multiple channels of communication such as phone, email and in-person meetings
  • Works with internal departments to ensure cohesiveness and timeliness of service execution
  • Manages time effectively to prioritize workload, client service requests and service parameters on business processes

DATA AND PROCESS INTEGRITY

  • Consistently follows client service workflows and appropriately engages internal resources such as process support team, procedure manuals and reporting tools to ensure efficiency and accuracy of execution
  • Accurately maintains complete client files including the clear documentation of account detail in agency management systems including activities, attachments and correspondence
  • Achieves desired levels of data completeness and process integrity by consistently meeting activity timelines, quality metrics and goals
  • Issues billing for the Safety department on an accurate and timely basis
  • Enters client service plans into the agency management system and monitors for execution

PEER RELATIONSHIPS

  • Provides feedback and shares information at team meetings
  • Participates in ongoing scheduled meetings with team to discuss accounts, service needs, service platform, etc.
  • Develops successful and effective working relationships with Safety team members, managers, carriers, and members of other departments
  • Communicates effectively with Safety Advocates and provides timely and complete information to allow them to effectively manage service execution

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Upon hire, Producers License for Fire/Casualty or Life/Health, as appropriate for role
  • Proficient skill in Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
