The company has passed the "start-up" phase and is the perfect size for employees who are eager to grow, passionate about next generation technology, and value the impact that their work has on the day-to-day operations and future success.About The Job:Our client is seeking an IT administrator to 1) assist in running & managing company IT Systems, 2) provide IT support to users and 3) plan and execute special projects. As a successful candidate, you must be a self-starter who can utilize your board knowledge to identify opportunities to increase performance, efficiency, and business value. In addition to IT acumen, strong problem solving, project management, communication, policy, and documentation skills are a must. You must also be passionate about technology, thrive in a fast-passed, changing environment and be eager to learn and work with a mix of technologies and stakeholders.Your Day-to-Day Roles and Responsibilities:Run and manage Internal IT Systems such as JIRA, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 apps with particular focus on collaboration tools, etc. Responsible for Internal IT support, ensuring support, maintenance, management and troubleshooting of all products and platforms. Monitoring the entire computer related systems. Perform daily maintenance on infrastructure and remote assistance for users (internal help desk) if needed. Run regular network and data security checks on systems and remediate the findings.Analyze hardware and software issues, document and communicate solutions to users. Contributing to ongoing IT projects. Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization (documentation and user guides).Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.Coordinating and executing communications to stakeholders including issue management, project management updates, utilization best practices etc.Overseeing and determining time frames for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.You Should Have:3+ years' experience in IT systems management and administration or related field.Strong experience managing JIRA and MS 0ffice 365 products.Excellent knowledge of Windows Desktop/Workstation Operating Systems.Knowledge/Experience with Microsoft products, Remote Desktop Services, some server technologies (Active Directory) etc.Experience with video collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.Familiarity with hardware & software installations, updates & upgrades (A+ certification a plus).Experience developing and documenting policy and user guides.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Disciplined work approach with the ability to function independently and take initiative.Works in an organized manner and with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Knowledge of AWS and/or other cloud solutions and IT project management is a plus.Our client offers:Competitive compensationComprehensive medical, vision, dentalLife & disability insuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramCareer development & advancement opportunities Our client is committed to equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination for all employees and qualified applicants without regard to a person's race, color, gender, age, religion, national origin, ancestry, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, or any characteristic protected under applicable law.
