Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:--- Monitors daily
activities of Sanitation employees.--- Assists in the training of
Sanitation employees.--- Monitors and assists the daily activities
of the sanitation crew.--- Assists supervisor or manager in placing
sanitation supplies orders.--- Works with the Receiving department
for sanitation deliveries.--- Maintains and suggests changes that
may increase the life of the sanitation equipment and PPE (Personal
Protective Equipment).--- Ensures that sanitation and production
equipment are inspected before and after cleaning.--- Submits
requests for equipment repair to the supervisor or the maintenance
department.--- Ensures that the sanitation of equipment, machinery
and rooms in production are acceptable.--- Monitors employee
attendance and recommends necessary action.--- Assists in the
coordination of the Freezer's Allergen clean up.--- Requests
materials and/or equipment through the supervisor or manager as
needed.--- Completes all sanitation logs in a timely manner.---
Ensures that all sanitation containers are properly labeled.---
Ensures proper communication on pre-ops and changeovers between
shifts.--- Confers with other Leads to coordinate activities of
individual departments.--- Performs all Sanitation functions within
each department.--- Maintains and monitors cleanliness of
employees' working area.--- Plans daily and weekly crewing
levels.--- Monitors employee's adherence to company rules and
policies and recommends necessary corrective action to the
Supervisor if needed.--- Assists in reviewing and maintaining
crewing levels and optimizing to meet or surpass NPF cost
targets.--- Suggests ways to control labor and supply costs as well
as improve processes.--- Ensures that all work activities are
performed with attention to the highest standards for quality,
safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety
requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.--- Ensures that
all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed.--- Follows
all company policies & procedures as well as the GMP's (Good
Manufacturing Practices).--- Maintains a high level of safety
awareness for an accident-free work place.--- Reports any unsafe or
hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to
Management.--- Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or
requested.Education, Skills and Experience:Education:--- High
school diploma, GED or equivalent.Skills and Experience:--- Three
to six months of food manufacturing experience.--- Ability to work
overtime, irregular hours or rotating shifts.--- Ability to speak,
write and understand English.--- Good interpersonal, written and
oral communications skills.--- Ability to communicate and work
effectively with a variety of diverse individuals within the
plant.--- Ability to establish trust and credibility with
employees.--- Ability to read and interpret documents such as
safety rules, operating instructions, formulas, and policy and
procedures manuals.--- Ability to use tools and perform minor
repairs as needed.--- Ability to take measurements
appropriately.--- Ability to write standard information into
related paperwork.--- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and
divide in all units of measure including but not limited to pounds,
ounces, grams, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
decimals.--- Ability to effectively present information to
management.--- Knowledge of Microsoft applications.--- Bilingual
(English/Spanish) is a plus.--- Ability to thrive in a constantly

duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a plant
production environment. The noise level in the work environment is
usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job in the
plant, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical
parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles.
Employee may be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures that
range from below zero (0) degrees Fahrenheit to over ninety (90)
degrees Fahrenheit. The noise level in the work environment is
usually moderate to loud. While in the plant, the employee is
required to utilize the required personal protective
