Job Description:
e-Learning SpecialistThis is a hybrid role which can be based in
our Schaumburg or downtown Chicago office.Identify and investigate
potential plagiarism cases and other candidate violations. Enforce
e-Learning policies and manage disciplinary processes to maintain
the integrity of SOA Educational programs. Monitor learner behavior
and analyze usage patterns using modern data collection tools.
Support the e-Learning Delivery team by maintaining documentation
and responding to general candidate inquiries when needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Monitor, calibrate and manage plagiarism
software to identify e-Learning plagiarism cases accurately and
reliably.Review plagiarism results in e-Learning assessments and
module exercises identified by LMS plagiarism software.Prepare and
escalate e-Learning discipline and appeal case files for further
review by Education Executive committee members.Confidentially
communicate results of discipline rulings and infractions to
candidates.Analyze plagiarism software data to identify e-Learning
plagiarism cases and trends Monitor the unlawful usage of posting
of SOA copyrighted materials on the internet and remediate with the
assistance of SOA General Counsel.Complete timely audits of
e-Learning exercises and assessments, analyze and report findings
to staff and Education volunteers as needed.Update and maintain
e-Learning Access discipline database.Adhere to functions as
outlined in the e-Learning discipline process flow and make process
improvements and recommendations as needed.Provide annual overview
of SOA discipline procedures and ongoing support to Education
Executive committee members.Maintain and monitor the SOA's mobile
collaboration tool, Learning Companion, and report on learner
analytics using xAPI tools.Organize and maintain electronic
documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and
e-Learning discipline cases.Continually review program and process
materials for accuracy and timeliness.Provide support to e-Learning
Coordinators as needed by monitoring and responding to candidate
inquiries. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist e-Learning staff with
administrative e-Learning duties.Serve as backup in absence of
Education Coordinators.Assist with testing of e-Learning system
enhancements. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor's degree
required.One year of experience in an association or
educational/training environment preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND
ABILITIES including competencies that may be representative but not
all inclusive of those commonly associated with this
position.Ability to learn and use multiple software systems
including Association Management Software (AMS),
plagiarism-checking software and Learning Management Systems
(LMS).Ability to review and analyze data related to e-Learning and
plagiarism checking.Ability to exhibit professionalism and
represent the organization internally and externally.Ability to set
priorities.Ability to write and document procedures and
processes.Ability to make objective and logical decisions using
sound judgment.Ability to demonstrate diplomacy in oral and written
confidential communications.Problem solving skill.Project
management skills.Effective skills in proofreading.Proficient in MS
Office. Ability to collaborate cross-departmentally to achieve
shared goals.Ability to work with sensitive and highly confidential
