Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:--- Follows daily work
instructions from the lead, supervisor and Manager and performs
duties in a timely manner.--- Ensures that all of the information
is recorded on the required systems.--- Assists the supervisors and
leads to coordinate the activities of individual departments.---
Maintains the cleanliness of working areas.--- Maintains sanitation
equipment in good working condition.--- Operates production
equipment (sauce tanks, CIP, mixers, sheeting lines, conveyors,
proofers, and freezers) to ensure proper cleanliness.--- Follows
sanitation processes and procedures as well as HACCP and safety
programs.--- Assists supervisor and leads in the coordination of
the Freezer's Allergen clean up.--- Ensures that the sanitation and
production equipment is inspected before and after cleaning.---
Submits requests for repair of the equipment to the Manager,
supervisor or the team leader.--- Ensures that the sanitation of
equipment, machinery and rooms in production are acceptable.---
Maintains and suggests changes that may increase the life of the
sanitation equipment and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).---
Requests materials and/or equipment through the lead and supervisor
as needed.--- Understands and completes all sanitation paper work
related and CIP sanitation cleaning procedures.--- Ensures that all
sanitation containers are properly labelled.--- Ensures proper
communication and assists in pre-ops and changeovers between
shifts.--- Suggests ways to control labor and supply costs as well
as improve processes.--- Ensures that all work activities are
performed with attention to the highest standards for quality,
safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety
requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.--- Follows all
company policies & procedures as well as the GMP's (Good
Manufacturing Practices).--- Maintains a high level of safety
awareness for an accident-free work place.--- Reports any unsafe or
hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to
Management.--- Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or
requested.Education, Skills and Experience: Education:--- High
School Diploma or GED preferred.--- Three (3) to six (6) months of
related experience in a food manufacturing facility.Skills and
Experience:--- Ability to work overtime, irregular hours or
rotating shifts.--- Ability to minimally speak and write in
English.--- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety
rules, operating instructions, and policy and procedure manuals.---
Ability to use tools and perform minor repairs as needed.---
Ability to convey standard information in written and verbal
form.--- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides.---
Ability to take measurements appropriately.--- Ability to
effectively communicate to appropriate personnel.--- Ability to
operate sanitation equipment.--- Ability to thrive in a constantly

occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is
occasionally exposed to airborne particles. Employee may be exposed
to extreme hot or cold temperatures. The noise level in the work
environment is usually moderate to loud. While in the plant, the
employee is required to utilize the required personal protective
