Job Description:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Independently prioritize and execute daily collection activities; contact customers for payment via telephone and email, document and maintain timely collection notes in SAP collection tool and establish appropriate follow-up.
• Maintain or improve departmental and organization key performance indicators including; Days Sales Outstanding, Past Due and Current Percentage, Average Days Delinquent and Collection Effectiveness Index.
• Perform all related credit activities for assigned customers with credit limits up to $15,000.00. This includes but is not limited to new customer approvals, credit limit adjustments, basic financial statement analysis and interpretation, contract reviews, DNBi interpretation, and obtaining both bank and trade references.
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve current and mitigate future, invoice disputes, billing issues, and deductions.
• Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization.
• Establish and maintain effective, cooperative and collaborative working relationships with Members, customers and cross-functional teams. WHO YOU ARE:
  • Basic understanding of financial statements and DNBi reports
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem solving
  • Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy
  • Experience with Excel is required
  • Strong customer service skills WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
    
    Work History Requirements:
    • 2 - 5 years Credit/Collection experience in a high volume environment
    • Proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
    • SAP T-Codes - Credit/Collections preferred
    • FSCM SAP Collection Tool & Correspondence preferred Education Requirements:
