Zurich is currently seeking a Claims Professional to join our Latent & Environmental team in Schaumburg. At Zurich, the Latent & Environmental Claims organization is dedicated to helping our customers resolve toxic tort, latent injury, class action, product liability and pollution losses. As a member of our pollution team, you will manage an auto claims caseload from assignment through resolution, with direction from your team manager and claims executives. At this level, you will manage liability and property damage claims caseload that consists of low to moderate exposure. You will own your assigned claims from end to end, resolving claims according to best practices. Basic Qualifications:* Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance areaOR* Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance areaOR* High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance areaOR* Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance areaAND* Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)* Microsoft Office experience* Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products Preferred Qualifications: Insurance industry, medical terminology, or medical billing knowledge Analytical and organizational skills Ability to multi-task Strong communication skills Adapt to a changing environment As a condition of employment at Zurich, employees must adhere to any COVID-related health and safety protocols in place at that time (https://www.zurichna.com/careers/faq).
