Title: Senior Business Analyst - AI Business Process ImprovementLocation: Chicago, ILSalary: $110-140K + BonusNo sponsorship available*Must have experience improving business processes using tools such as Pardot, Jotform, Marketo Engage, SharpSpring, Keap, ActiveCampaign, Autopilot, Make.com, Zapier, or LiveSession.Overview:We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience in Business Process Improvement and at least 1 year of utilizing AI tools to enhance business processes. This role involves leading the development of AI-powered automation systems, working with the latest AI technologies, tools like Make.com, and APIs to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and increase productivity. It offers a hands-on opportunity to shape the future of automation in a dynamic, growth-oriented industry.Essential Functions:Automation Development:--- Design and implement automation workflows using platforms like Shopify, NetSuite, Slack, and internal CRMs.--- Integrate systems via platforms like Make.com, Zapier, or custom solutions.AI Integration:--- Utilize AI technologies (e.g., GPT, ML models) to improve operations, customer service, and inventory management.--- Deploy AI-driven tools for dynamic pricing, customer segmentation, and personalized marketing.API Management:--- Develop and maintain integrations between systems using APIs.--- Troubleshoot API issues to ensure seamless operations.Process Optimization:Identify automation opportunities in key areas such as inventory, marketing, and finance. Evaluate current workflows and design streamlined, automated processes.Collaboration:--- Collaborate with department heads to understand needs and prioritize automation projects.--- Train and mentor team members on new automation tools.Monitoring and Reporting:--- Monitor system performance and ensure alignment with business goals.--- Report on automation impact, including cost savings and efficiency improvements.Qualifications:--- 10+ years as a Business Analyst or Project Manager with expertise in Business Process Improvement.--- At least 1 year of experience as an AI Engineer or similar role.--- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.--- Programming experience is a plus.Technical Skills:--- Proficiency with automation tools like Make.com, Zapier, or similar platforms.--- Knowledge of creating complex automation hierarchies.--- Experience with APIs, JSON, REST, and webhooks.--- Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, ML models).--- Understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases and data manipulation.--- Ability to design effective automation workflows and troubleshoot issues.Communication Skills:--- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.--- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.--- Team-oriented with a focus on building trust and positive relationships.Ideal Candidate:--- Basic understanding of retail, e-commerce, or related industries.--- Hands-on experience with Shopify, NetSuite, Slack, etc.--- Resilient, positive mindset, and adaptable to challenges.--- Creative problem-solver with a proactive approach to adding value.--- Passionate about staying current with AI trends and skills.
