Route One Specialized is hiring CDL A Owner Operators throughout the Midwest Region. • Top Owner Operators average $8,000 - $12,000 gross weekly earnings
  • The owner is paid 88% of the gross
  • Additional Guidance:
    • Safety Bonus
    • Driver Referral Bonus:
      • For each driver referred, you earn 0.5% more added to your total % earned
        • This applies for the duration of your referral's employment with Route One Specialized
        • Escrow / Security Deposit of $2,500 (charged $250 a week for first 10 weeks)
          • Will be returned 45 days after the last day worked (in the event driver quits or goes on an extended vacation)
          • Weekly settlements via direct depositHighlights:

            • Fuel Discount: 50 cents/gallon on average
            • Repair discounts at Tarp System (East Dundee, IL)
            • 24/7 Safety Monitoring
            • 5 trucks per dispatcher ratio
              • The majority of our dispatchers are former Owner Operators
              • IFTA filing fee: $75/quarter
              • Fuel Card: $6/month
              • Set up fee: $100 + Drug Test
              • Insurance Cargo/Liability: $245/week
              • Trailer rent: $325 - $495/weekly
              • Occupational insurance: $185/weekly
              • Pre-Pass: FREE
              • Logbook: Charge $20/weeklyVoluntary Programs:
                • If drivers are interested in insurance options, we have an advisor who can provide you with options
                • Plates available for purchase
                • Company helps cover permitsHome Time, Route & Schedule:
                  • Home Time: 3 - 4 days home for every 2 weeks out
                  • Schedule: Drivers will typically be out for 2 weeks at a time
                    • Home time & may vary depending on the area in which you live
                    • Drivers can stay out on the road longer at request
                    • Route: Route One Specialized delivers freight throughout the lower 48 states
                      • 80% of routes are within the Midwest
                      • We operate Regional & OTR, Free Trip Pack, Free Pre Pass
                      • Level of Touch: No Touch Freight!
                      • Oversize and partial loads are available
                      • New Trailers for rent: Dry Van, RGN, flatbed, step deck and conestogaEquipment:
                        • Must have your own truck that is DOT-compliantQualifications:
                          • Must have a valid CDL A License
                          • Must have at least 18+ months of CDL A experience
                          • Current DOT Medical Card
                          • Owner Operators with arrest and conviction records will be considered pursuant to applicable federal, state, and local laws
                          • Hiring Radius: Seeking Owner Operators throughout the Midwest Region and surrounding states
                            • Drivers throughout the lower 48 states will be considered but routes and schedules may vary
