Rotating Equipment/Maintenance Specialist - $15,000 Sign-On Bonus

Manpower Engineering is looking for a Rotating Equipment/Reliability Specialist for our East Chicago, IN client . This is a perm/direct hire role that requires a combination of office and field work and approximately 15%-20% travel domestically.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and perform major equipment maintenance, overhauls, and inspections of large industrial mechanical and rotating equipment.
• Provide on-site or remote technical support and direction.
• Assist in turnaround planning and cost estimation of mechanical work.
• Identify and resolve chronic mechanical asset concerns. Job Requirements:
  • A blend of office and field work, with 15%-20% domestic travel.
  • Availability during off-hours and ability to work in various weather conditions. Required Qualifications:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance of mechanical and rotating systems in an industrial environment.
    • Experience in mechanical industrial maintenance (journeyman, mechanic, millwright, machinist, or field service technician).
    • Skills in installing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing industrial mechanical and rotating equipment.
    • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
    • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and performing precision alignment of rotating equipment. Desired Qualifications:
      • Completion of a 4-year machinist/millwright apprenticeship program or an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
      • Experience in dynamic balancing, vibration data analysis.
